Child and Teen Safety Policy

1. Eligibility and protection

Astknan’s minimum age is 15; younger people may not create or use an account, and there is no upper limit for eligible users. Child/teen protections continue for ages 15–17 and anyone locally considered a minor. Higher legal restrictions and required permissions apply; parental permission does not waive our minimum age.

2. Prohibition of exploitation

We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation and related material, grooming, requests for intimate images, sexual extortion, trafficking, and inducement of minors with gifts or money for sexual acts. This applies to text, audio, images, video, links and synthetic content. Claimed consent, earlier publication or humour provides no exception.

3. Reporting and response

Use in-app reporting or support@astknan.live with subject “Child safety”, the account/room identifier, time and description. Do not redistribute abuse material or email it; provide an in-service identifier or safe reference where available. We review reports and take appropriate protective action, including restrictions, removal, legally appropriate evidence preservation and required reporting to competent authorities. Urgent cases also require local emergency services.

4. Age and privacy

Reasonable age concerns may lead to proportionate verification or temporary restriction; do not collect another user’s identity documents. A minor or guardian may request review or removal of an underage account’s data with appropriate verification. Reporter identity and report information are handled on a need-to-know basis; retaliation is prohibited, but absolute confidentiality cannot be promised where disclosure is legally required.
